Electronic elections:
For the first time in its history, the IUCN Members’ Assembly used an electronic system to run its elections. More information on the system is contained in the guidelines for delegates available for download from the right-hand column.
Election Officer
Michael Bothe, Professor Emeritus of Public Law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, was appointed Election Officer by the IUCN Council in May 2011.
